Masters Degree Program

The Master’s Degree programs at Dominion Theological Seminary are designed for persons intending to pursue further graduate study’s such as a doctoral or PhD program. It may also be taken by anyone desiring to strengthen their knowledge of the Word of God, or simply to build their faith. This program equips, cultivates, and trains leaders to work with excellence in several areas of ministry.

This graduate course provides the student, education on leadership in the church, critical and practical understanding of the Bible, and promotes growth and knowledge of skills for competence in a specialized area of ministry.

Master of Arts in Christian Education (M.A.C.E.)

Credit Hours: 36
Prerequisites: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent

The Master of Arts in Christian Education M.A.C.E. is designed to provide advanced training in Biblical principles of Christian Education. This degree prepares one to do educational tasks in a Christian setting. The program is designed to prepare leaders who desire to serve or currently serve in an educational capacity, including: Executive leadership, Sunday School superintendent, Minister of Education, Youth Minister, Sunday School, or Seminary teaching.

 

Master of Arts in Clinical Christian Counseling (M.A.C.C.)

Credit Hours: 36
Prerequisites: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent

Christian counselors use different facets of the Christian faith including biblical doctrine to provide assistance to those that are dealing with various life  struggles. This course specializes in the area of mental health, addictions, marriage, and family. Those who are interested in pursuing the Master of Arts in Clinical Christian Counseling Degree should have at least a bachelor’s degree. This Degree Program will enhance your counseling ministry as it offers the student skills, and techniques, that will help the counselor become more effective in different settings including churches, mental health centers, drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers, and hospitals. This Degree Program helps the students to help the student counsel on a pastoral level.

 

Master of Theology Th.M.

Credit Hours: 36
Prerequisites: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent

The Master of Theology degree program aims to develop each student with an informed, critical approach to a chosen field of study through graduate courses, mastery of languages and a greater biblical knowledge to assist them in their ministry position and or calling. This degree program helps prepare students for the doctoral level, as well as for teaching in institutions, public or private, where masters preparation is expected for entry level positions. By the end of the program, students will be expected to demonstrate an advanced understanding of their chosen area of study through the completion of a thesis project.
