Doctorate Degree Programs

A doctorate degree is an academic degree awarded by universities, derived from the ancient formalism licentia docendi (“license to teach”). In most countries, it is a degree that qualifies the holder to teach at the university level in the degree’s field or to work in a specific profession.

The doctoral degree you’ll earn at Dominion Theological Seminary is fully accredited and commits to scrupulous study, and sound theology.

You’ll earn an academically rigorous degree that amalgamates biblical truth, with practical application skills. You may select the doctoral degree program that best meets your specific ministry needs and/or professional goals.

Doctor of Christian Education (EdD)

The Doctor of Christian Education (EdD) degree program is designed to provide advanced training in Biblical principles of Christian Education. This degree prepares one to do educational tasks in a Christian setting. Among these are teaching, supervising, developing, and implementing Christian education programs.

Honorary Doctorate of Divinity Degree

Dominion Theological Seminary welcomes the opportunity to receive recommendations and nominations of persons in the ministry who deserve the special recognition and honor of receiving the Honorary Doctorate of Divinity Degree.

However each applicant must meet the criteria established by the DTS Board of Regents which will also be based upon their evaluation of information provided about the candidates.
