Doctor of Christian Education (EdD)

The Doctor of Christian Education (EdD) degree program is designed to provide advanced training in Biblical principles of Christian Education. This degree prepares one to do educational tasks in a Christian setting. Among these are teaching, supervising, developing, and implementing Christian education programs.

Doctor of Christian Counseling

As counseling professionals, you will play a vital role in the change and growth of an individual’s ability to think, feel, and act in constructive and godly ways. Throughout the Doctor of Christian Counseling Program, you will be able to on multiple levels, foster and facilitate good mental health within your church and community. The Doctor of Christian Counseling and Psychology Degree Program is designed to give the student an advanced background in Christian Counseling and incorporates the programs from the National Association of Christian Counselors. It offers a comprehensive study of the mind, the brain, as well as human behavior. This course prepares the student for ministry in the area of mental health counseling from a Rogerian, Fraud, Jung, nouthetic, and integrated perspective. The student will be positioned as an authority within these and other settings: church, community, mission field, counseling firm, or biblical counseling ministries. This program offers a unique learning opportunity for its students.

Honorary Doctorate of Divinity Degree

Dominion Theological Seminary welcomes the opportunity to receive recommendations and nominations of persons in the ministry who deserve the special recognition and honor of receiving the Honorary Doctorate of Divinity Degree.

However each applicant must meet the criteria established by the DTS Board of Regents which will also be based upon their evaluation of information provided about the candidates.
