We are so excited that you have decided to apply to Dominion Theological Seminary.

The Life Experience Assessment Program (LEAP) is designed to apply college credits towards the Degree Program of the student’s choice. This affords the student to be credited with what they have already learned. In addition, students who qualify for LEAP may be able to reduce their course load by as much as 30%.

Complete and submit the DTS LEAP application. If you qualify for the LEAP Program you will also be required to pass the 400 question DTS Bible Knowledge Equivalency Exam.

You will be eligible for the LEAP Program after you have done the following:

  • Submit your completed DTS LEAP Application along with the required documents to complete your Portfolio Assessment.
  • Receive a passing score of no less than 70% on the DTS Bible Knowledge Equivalency Exam.

Be sure to follow the following instructions carefully before submitting your LEAP Application. Failure to submit accurate information will be grounds for rejection of your application.

  1. Acquire your previous transcripts from all schools previously attended and have them forwarded to DTS.
  2. List all books previously read. Include Title, Author, Publisher, ISBN number, Copyright Date, and Edition for each book.
  3. Indicate the Degree(s) you are applying for.
  4. Attach your personal/professional resume.
  5. Attach your current Ministerial/Professional Resume.
  6. Submit three (3) or more personal character references (not relatives or family members). Include Name, Address, Phone number, Email address, and years acquainted.
  7. Answer each and every question pertaining to views of Biblical Doctrine and Theological studies. Please be sure to indicate via scripture your reasons for your view and provide any valid sustaining information you may have.
  8. Complete your 400 Word Exam of the Bible

    Application Terms and Agreement

    NOTE: The cost of books is NOT included in the tuition or registration

    1. Do not sign this agreement before you have read it.
    2. This agreement is a legally binding instrument. Both sides of the contract is binding only when the agreement is accepted, signed, and dated by the authorized official of the school or the admissions officer at the school’s principal place of business. Please read this agreement in its entirety before signing.
    3. You are entitled to an exact copy of this agreement and any disclosure pages you sign.
    4. This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the student and the school.
    5. Please be advised that Honorary Degrees will not be accepted towards academic requirements.
    6. By submitting this application for LEAP enrollment, you certify that all information presented herein is true and accurate.
    7. By submitting this application for enrollment, you agree to the terms of tuition payment (Program Fees), materials and textbooks.
    8. The school reserves the right to terminate a students’ training for unsatisfactory progress, nonpayment of tuition, or failure to abide by established standards of conduct.
    9. The school does not guarantee the transferability of credits to a college, university, or institution. The transference of credits is solely up to the discretion of each institute.
    10. All fees collected are non-refundable.
    11. All students are to conduct themselves in a Christ-like manner at all times.
    12. Dominion Theological Seminary is a private institution available to the public, upon screening of each applicant. At no time, without the authorization of the President or his staff should any information other than promoting the school be made available to the public.
    13. Any Dominion Theological Seminary related posts to social media, are only allowed once they have been approved by the President or sta. Dominion Theological Seminary has a social media page and administrator therewith. Remember, decency and order at all times. You are allowed to promote these school in a positive light that would bring glory to God, encourage others to attend Dominion, and or gain the support of others on your scholastic journey
    14. Failure to comply with the above can result in a STA conference and a redetermination of eligibility.
    15. Each student is responsible for their own school trip expenses.
    16. For all LEAP and degree students there are additional costs to be discussed on an individual basis.
    17. Credit for class is given once the course(s)is complete, tuition is paid in full, a passing grade is received, attendance, class participation, all homework and finals are complete.
    18. All students and teachers are mandated to attend and participate in Chapel service as part of the course requirements.
    19. Please understand that DTS is an accredited degree issuing institution accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Biblical Higher Education and the Global Christian Schools Network. DTS is for religious and ministerial training and preparation. Transfer credits are at the discretion of each individual institution.
    20. Each student is required to write a school evaluation at the end of the semester.

    I hereby certify that all information attached and presented herein is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge. I hereby make application for enrollment in the Degree Program indicated above, and will endeavor to do my best to adhere to the standards of Dominion Theological Seminary.

    I acknowledge and understand all material contained in this registration application. I understand that the school may terminate my enrollment if I fail to comply with attendance, academic, and financial requirements as outlined. While enrolled in the school, I understand that I must maintain satisfactory academic progress described and that my financial obligation to the school must be paid in full before graduation and before a certificate may be awarded. Any student complaints must be submitted in writing to be reviewed by the staff.

    Contract Acceptance

    I, the undersigned, have read and understand this agreement and acknowledge receipt of a copy. It is further understood and agreed that this agreement supersedes all prior or contemporaneous verbal or written agreements and may not be modified without the written agreement of the student and the School Official. I also understand that if I default upon this agreement I will be responsible for payment of any collection fees or attorney fees incurred by Dominion Theological Seminary.
